If you love cycling to keep up the fitness levels or driving to workplaces or visiting marketplaces; don’t worry, you are not missing your way. Google Maps enroutes the cycle riders with a determined path using docked bike-sharing schemes. This new layout of following maps is being rolled out in 10 cities around the world.
Google Maps users can now follow directions using rented bikes. This follow-up can be made from docked bike-share schemes like Santander Cycles in London or Citi Bike in New York City. You can easily walk to a nearby dock and get cycling directions from one dock to another. And you can revise back with the walking directions from the dock to your destination.
Google has already provided these kinds of services for Lime’s dock less scooters and bikes in 2018. And, the services were available for docked bike-hire schemes in many cities around the world.
