Facebook is rolling out a standalone Creator Studio app, an AI-powered tool designed to help creators grow their audiences, understand content performance and engage more effectively with their communities. The official iOS launch follows several weeks of testing with a select group of creators.
The new app includes Facebook’s AI creator assistant, which provides personalised recommendations based on a creator’s content style, performance, audience engagement and individual goals.
Instead of relying on charts and dashboards to analyse their performance, creators can use the AI assistant to get quick answers to questions such as “When should I post?” and “What are people saying in my comments?” They can also ask follow-up questions to gain more detailed insights.
By introducing a dedicated Creator Studio app, Meta is seeking to encourage creators to remain active on Facebook as it competes with platforms such as TikTok and YouTube for creator attention. The move could also reduce creators’ reliance on third-party AI tools such as ChatGPT for content ideas and performance analysis.
The Creator Studio app comes with several additional features, including an AI-powered comment tool that identifies the most important comments and generates suggested responses using the creator’s own tone. Creators can review, edit and approve the suggested replies before publishing them.
The app also provides creators with a daily priorities feed when they open it, highlighting tasks such as reviewing the performance of their latest posts, monitoring progress towards their goals and identifying comments that require a response.
Creator Studio is currently available to all creators using iOS devices in the United States and Canada.
The launch is part of a wider series of new products and standalone apps released by Meta in recent months. The company recently introduced Forum, a dedicated app for Facebook Groups with functionality similar to Reddit, along with Instants, which allows users to share disappearing photos with Instagram friends.
Meta has also launched Pocket, a gaming app developed using AI-assisted coding, and StoryKit, an AI-powered storytelling app designed to create children’s stories.
