Acer collaborates with Porsche Design to introduce a new high-end “luxury” laptop, the Porsche Design Acer Book RS. Porsche Design had previously marketed its own branded laptop, the Porsche Design Book One but had some key flaws.
So in order to overcome the errors caused by prioritizing style over functionality, Porsche Design is summing up with Acer to bring in an Acer Book RS which looks like a more conventional laptop.
The Acer Book RS powers Intel 11th Gen Core i5 and i7 processors while the configurations are set at 8GB or 16GB of RAM, and either 512GB or 1TB of storage. Graphics might be of Intel’s integrated Iris Xe graphics or an optional discrete Nvidia MX350 GPU.
It comes with a 14-inch display highlighting the 1080p touchscreen. This brand-new laptop starts at $1,399 in the United States, with the exact pricing and a release date yet to be announced. Besides, Acer also recently announced several other major laptop updates.
