Apple announced on Thursday that over 82% of compatible iPhones are now running iOS 18, a significant jump from 68% in January. Reports Technology News
First unveiled at WWDC in June 2024, iOS 18 began rolling out to users in September. The update supports models from the iPhone XR/XS onwards. Notably, Apple combines all iterations of iOS 18 under a single figure, so it’s unclear how many devices are on the latest point release.
The company also reported that 71% of eligible iPads have adopted iPadOS 18. Among iPhones released in the past four years, adoption of iOS 18 has reached 88%, up from 76% in January. Similarly, 81% of iPads launched in the same period are now running iPadOS 18.
However, Apple did not share any specific usage data for its Apple Intelligence features.
