One of the reputed networks Carrier Company AT&T announced 5G network will be made available to wireless consumer and business customers on August 7th. 5G presence across the US for its users will be beneficial to more than 205 million consumers in 395 coverage markets, the company said.
The 5G access will be for free to Customers on its Unlimited Starter wireless plan and Unlimited Web-Only and Starter business plans on August 7th. The Extra and Elite consumer plans and Performance and Elite business plans from the company already includes 5G access. The Unlimited Plus plan allows AT&T users to purchase 5G-enabled devices with Prepaid plan.
In the last year’s strategy of 5G advertising, both AT&T and Verizon have faced challenges on previous 5G claims. The National Advertising Review Board asked AT&T to stop the 5G Evolution branding. This is because the actual 4G networks that have been in reality and the chances of misleading customers might be a possibility, the board believed.
