Verizon in its recent statements announced that San Diego on May 28 will become the latest city to gain 5G service. The company also states that downstream speeds might not be so great always in the initial days of 5G. However it expects upload speeds on 5G about to be 30 percent faster than 4G LTE.
5G upload coverage area is different when compared to the 5G download coverage area, said the company. Yet the details on 5G coverage are to be explored with the future lying in it. The expectations are too different from reality, and so it’s time to wait until the technology is well under way.
