Oppo unveiled the first smartwatch at its Find X2 launch event on 6 March. It looks similar to the Apple Watch with a curved glass and square screen. In addition, the integrated bands and the black-heavy UI are the features.

The Chinese smart device manufacturer Oppo has been teasing the smartwatch several times via social media. However, all the tech specs have been revealed after the launch event with the product going on sale in China from 24 March. The price is set at approximately £165 (1,499 yuan), while the other parts of the world would witness the watch later this year.

Specifications of Oppo Smartwatch

Oppo Smartwatch comes with a 1.91-inch OLED screen, 72.76% screen-to-body-ratio, and a resolution of 402×476. The 46mm watch comprises of music playback, fitness tracking, heart rate monitoring, and many other features. The company claims with a water resistance capacity of up to 50 meters. Furthermore, it has eSIM-based cellular connectivity.

Similar to the technicality of smartphone charging, Oppo designs its smartwatch that powers VOOC fast-charging system. Getting into the details, the watch withstands fairly enough with 40 hours of regular use after getting fully charged. The power-saving mode allows the device to last up to 21 days with notifications enabled.

Android-based software is developed using ColorOS. There might be a different software used for other markets, says the company.
