The US tech giant Microsoft is heading towards developing an Xbox Game Pass that can be accessed with xCloud game streaming service. Microsoft’s data centers will provide the service initially. Although the users can enjoy gaming experience with Xbox One S consoles later this year, Microsoft plans to roll out new hardware in the next year.

Microsoft has taken up the testing on upgraded xCloud servers. The company is also testing dedicated PC server blades for streaming PC games on xCloud. Furthermore, it will use its new Xbox Series X hardware following from 2021 and through xCloud servers. The company believes that the new upgrade provides huge performance.

The next-gen processor that will be powered in the new hardware will deliver better results. It will be able to run four Xbox One S game sessions at a time. The hardware includes a new built-in video encoder, which is up to six times faster than the current encoder.
