UK’s 5G contract is given to Chinese company Huawei

The new Boris Johnson’s government has decided to give ‘high-risk vendors’ a chance to play an important role in the UK’s 5G network. Boris Johnson has promised better internet connectivity in the UK making gigabit broadband a key election pledge before becoming the Prime Minister. But as we know that Donald Trump has banned using Huawei in US and also urged the UK to not use Huawei, but the UK government is very clear that ‘high-risk vendors’ won’t involve in the UK’s ‘most sensitive networks.
