Google is making plans to roll out a new Google Photos editor mode on Android. This advanced editor app is powered by machine learning and provides automatic suggestions when necessary. This will bring your photos look even better with improved tools for granular manual controls.

Users find a new “Suggestions” tab in the photo editing menu, which is the biggest development in the editor app. The Suggestions option offers recommendations for edits with a specific photo you’re currently looking at.

The new photo editor automatically adjusts the parameters like contrast, brightness, and portrait effects. You can also make further edits and Google also shows you what edits it made. Initially the app provides some basic options for suggestions like “Enhance” and “Color Pop.”

However, Google promises that it’ll continue to expand its lineup of options optimized around specific types of images (like portraits, landscapes, or sunsets) at a later stage while it might start with Pixel phones.

The company is also rolling out a new interface for its general editing tool. These include aspects like contrast, brightness, saturation, white point, warmth, blur, and more, making it easier for users to scroll through each option.
