Google has officially announced three Pixel phones namely Pixel 4A, Pixel 4A 5G and Pixel 5 on 3 August. The pixel 4A is set to start at $349 and is available for preorder now. Users interested and pre-ordered in 4A, will receive the phone on 20 August.
While the 4A model in the consumer’s hands is yet to be seen soon, Pixel 5 & Pixel 4A 5G will be available from this year’s fall for purchase. Google announced that the delay of smartphones happened due to the current situation of covid-19 pandemic.
The budget-friendly Google Pixel 4A is much more attractive due to its price segment. When comparing last year’s Pixel 3A and the first edition of iPhone SE, it’s a clear indication of the $50 reduced price on the recently released Pixel model.
The much expected specifications match the reality, showcasing a 5.81-inch OLED display (2340 x 1080 resolution) and powers a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor. Google Pixel 4A is incorporated with 128GB storage space and 6GB RAM. The device powers a 3,140mAh battery while it sports a 12.2-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
