If you are enabled with the iOS 14 update on your devices, you may turn Gmail as a default email application. Google has officially announced that the development is in place. Last week’s iOS 14 release had some interesting features.

One of the significant features that the update rolled out is the option for users to set third-party email applications as the default for iPhone and iPad devices. Once the latest update is installed, just go to the Settings app on iOS, select the “Gmail” menu, and find the newly added “Default Mail App” menu.

However, a bug appears on the new update that automatically switches third-party browser and email applications back to Apple’s default Mail and Safari after a restart. So, Apple is expected to address the issue and fix it at the earliest.
