Slack after its introduction as a mobile app has been updating features to bring a desktop experience. The app consists of a single home screen and swipe-based navigation. But the new update by the company on its Android beta channel introduces a simpler and more organized Slack. This is to implement better visual and user interface experiences.
The company also focuses on navigation bars at the bottom on its new update. This allows users to easily jump to various sections of the app. A home screen is present on the bar that lists all your channels. Swiping on to the right lets you access other workspaces and swiping left allows you to go back to the last channel that you were browsing.
The Android app is getting rigorously tested by Slack with its major redesign and would be rolling out to the users. The modifications can be clearly differentiated when compared to the past versions of Slack. Especially the features related to drop down menus and redesign of navigation bar can be the highlights of the new update.
