OnePlus upcoming phone models might be more affordable while the company plans to do it with 120Hz smartphones. The confirmation with OnePlus 8T will include that higher refresh rate as the company said.
The T-series of OnePlus phones typically serve as a half-step between its numbered phones. They basically bring premium features from the company’s Pro models, like that of a 120Hz screen, to a lower price.
With many expectations around the cost, OnePlus 8T having 120Hz screens might be launched on 14 October. On the other hand, Apple hasn’t released any phone with a 120Hz until now. OnePlus CEO Pete Lau said that the OnePlus 8T’s screen will also “dominate the front of the handset with a screen-to-body ratio of 91.9%.”
However, the company has not confirmed what type of specs the OnePlus 8T will have. But the phone’s battery might be a little bigger at 4,500mAh, compared to the OnePlus 8’s 4,300mAh battery. And OnePlus 8T might configure a Snapdragon 865+ processor, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and four cameras on the back.
