Samsung Galaxy Book S which is the latest edition in the laptop segment is now available to buy. It incorporates the new Core processors with Intel Hybrid Technology by Intel. The new Intel processors are referred to as “Lakefield”. On the other hand, the Galaxy Book S models that were previously released have run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon platform.
The new Samsung Galaxy Book S models power ultralight devices while they might be made available with the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold and the dual-screen Surface Neo. The functioning is in a way that the company combines one powerful core with four lower-power cores to form a total of five cores and five threads on a single die.
The new processors drawing hybrid technology allows smaller devices to offer a multi thread-capable structure. This also reduces the amount of higher power requirements. The company introduced a new two 7W Lakefield chip set to start the Core i5-L16G7 and the Core i3-L13G4. The duo shares architecture with the Ice Lake generation and includes Intel’s Gen 11 integrated graphics and support for Wi-Fi 6.
